Kick-It is a national fundraising program that raises money for children's cancer research. It all started with a 10-year old cancer patient with a big dream; to cure cancer by playing kickball. The concept has spread across the country and thousands of people have been inspired to raise money for childhood cancer research.

Funds raised benefit CureSearch for Children's Cancer, a national non-profit foundation whose mission is to fund and support children's cancer research and provide information and resources to all those affected by children's cancer. CureSearch raises funds for promising research conducted at more than 175 hospitals in the United States. These hospitals participate in National Cancer Institute sponsored clinical trials conducted by the Children's Oncology Group. CureSearch also funds other clinical, basic and translational research so that researchers can understand all aspects of children's cancer, from its causes to its consequences.
With more than 200 member hospitals worldwide and over 6,500 physicians, nurses and other researchers, Children's Oncology Group hospitals treat 90 percent of children in the United States with cancer, providing the unmatched combination of global expertise and local care. This means that every child and care team has complete access to the latest research and world-class treatments at hospitals close to home./p>
