General Social Media Policy
Kick-It is committed to being a family-friendly space for fans to interact and share information with our
Facebook fans and Twitter followers. It is also intended to reflect our values. In these spaces, we will share
helpful information about the organization, its activities and recommendations, and of course, pictures.
We welcome interaction on these topics. Except as expressly permitted, any pictures taken through Kick-It are
and remain the property of Kick-It and cannot be copied and distributed without the copyright owners
permission.
We ask Facebook fans and Twitter followers not to post content that: 1) is threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, indecent or objectionable; (2) is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading; (violates others intellectual property rights; (4) violates or encourages others to violate any law, rule, or regulation; or (5) is offensive as it does not contribute to a healthy and helpful community. And, of course, all content must comply with the respective policies of Facebook and Twitter.
The posting and presence of content on Facebook and Twitter does not necessarily mean that Kick-It agrees with the content, ensures it accuracy or otherwise approves of or sponsors it, including the circulation of pictures from the shoots. Nothing on any Twitter or Facebook page constitutes a binding representation, agreement or an endorsement on the part of Kick-It. While we cannot monitor every posting, we reserve the right to remove any postings that violate our community policies or that we otherwise determine is inappropriate. Anyone who repeatedly violates our community policies will be banned from participation.
In addition to the rights that you grant to Facebook or Twitter, you grant to Kick-It and affiliates a royalty-free license to use your content in any manner, media, globally, forever, and without any obligation to you. This includes the right to use any ideas you submit (including ideas about fundraising, advertising campaigns or other services) in any manner that we choose, without obligation to you.
